Quilting from the heart
I will say this if you would have told me that 6 months ago I would have fallen in love with quiliting as much as I have, I wouldnt believe you. This is quilt #8 that I have finished but only #2 that I have been able to post since I have not given them to the recipiants yet. Since I learned all of this on my own by trial and error I also figured I would show you some of the work as I have finished it.
This is one panel complete now to finish it up and get it to the quilters. Because I have not learned how to do that just yet but it is on my list of things to learn.
And this is the progress of the blocks. Sometimes I am my own worst enemy since its all about line and linning up. OH MY WORD sometimes this is the worst for me.
I think you see what Im talking about because this is so beautiful and the colors go SOOO well together. I absolutely love it. And I am sure Julie Coyle did too she freaked out.
Again my daughter didnt like this block at all and thought it very Ugly.
And as you can tell this all came together so dang good that I couldn't wait to get it to the quilters and send it on to the recipient. This was such a treat to do and I knew when Julie got it she would also be just as pleased as I was. I love doing this for people because it gives me an opportunity to say a little prayer for every stitch. When I sew a quilt for someone I think of all the great times I had with this person and say prayers along the way. I know this blanket will keep her warm and safe and I couldnt ask for a better thing.
Until next time which is hopefully soon you will see some more amazing, beautiful and exciting things from me.
Happy Fathers Day to all the amazing men in my life and God Is Amazing.
